JERRY McELROY, TRUST CHAIRMAN--President of McElroy's Inc., of Topeka and has been President of the family business for the past 32 years.  In addition, Mr. McElroy currently serves as an officer and director of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Kansas, director of Commerce Bank and Trust, and is a past director of the First National Bank and the St. Francis Health Center.

Mr. McElroy attended Washburn University majoring in business and accounting.

 

JOHN R. YOUNG, VICE CHAIRMAN--Vice President of Schwab-Eaton, P.A. serving as Director of Surveying, Land Development and Purchasing for the firm. His responsibilities include directing and coordinating all surveying, mapping and land development projects for the firm and has been designated an "expert witness" by District Courts in land dispute cases. He has been involved in the planning and design of most of the residential additions in Manhattan for the last 25 years.

Mr. Young attended the Kansas Military Academy, U.S. Army Engineer School, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and received his B.S. from University of State of New York.

Mr. Young retired from the Kansas National Guard in November of 1988 after having served as Company Commander, Battalion Commander and Brigade Level Commander and attaining the rank of Colonel.

 

SALLY SALB, SECRETARY--Along with her husband, Sally has been involved in the construction business in Lawrence and Ottawa since 1986. Together they are partners in Salb Construction, Inc., doing primarily new home construction in Lawrence; Barkley/Salb Construction, Inc., new home construction, development, and property management in Ottawa; Sunset Meadows, Inc. and Arrowhead Investments, LLC, property management in Ottawa; Going South, LLC, land development in Lawrence; Mary's Lake LLC, land development in Lawrence; and also owns and manages numerous rental properties in Lawrence.

Sally was previously employed at the University of Kansas Center for Research, and at Merck/InterX in Payroll and accounting positions.

Sally is active in Lawrence Home Builders Association and has been a member since that chapters inception. She has also been active in numerous church and school projects over the years.

 

RANDALL R. COONROD--President and Administrator of Coonrod & Associates Construction Co. Inc., Wichita, having served in that capacity since 1984.  Mr. Coonrood is currently a member of the Bard of Trustees of Kansas State University Foundation, Wichita Chamber of Commerce, Young Men's Christian Association, Wichita Crime Commission, Riverside Management Services, Via Christi Riverside Medical Center, Advisory Board of West Branch YMCA, and Sedgwick County Board of Building Examiners and Appeals.

Mr. Coonrod holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University.

 

JIM GRUVER--Jim Gruver has owned and operated James Gruver Construction, Inc., Hutchinson, Kansas, since 1990.  Jim is a graduate of Buhler High School, Hutchinson Community College and Kansas State University.  During these education years he worked at miscellaneous construction jobs.  After graduation, he was a job foreman and supervisor for a custom builder from 1975 to 1989.  In 1998, Jim added Cabinet Connections to his operations and developed his first subdivision in 1999.

In addition to the operation of his two companies, Jim has served as President of the Hutchinson Building Association, served on the Hutchinson Housing Commission, Building Trades Advisory Council for Hutchinson Community College and the City of Hutchinson Board of Appeals. Jim and his wife, Debby, of 31 years have 2 adult children and numerous hobbies.  

 

LEE LARSON--is owner of Coronado Construction in Lindsborg, Kansas. Lee has been an active member of the Salina Home Builders Association and is immediate past president of that Local Association. His wife, Kim is designer/draftsman for the 22 year old business.

After serving in the Navy for 4 years during the Viet Nam conflict, Lee attended Salina Area Vo Tech School on the GI bill and has since returned to teach courses there at both the high school and post high school level.

Mr. Larson is active in numerous organizations: Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity Steering Committee, Walk to Emmaus Board of Directors, as well as serving his church. Lee and Kim spent last spring as part of a team that traveled to Haiti to build a medical clinic. 

 

WILLIAM R. MILLER--Owner and President of Building Erection Services Co. and Midwest Crane and Rigging.  He is currently a member of the Associated Genera Contractors Association, American Sub-Contractors Association, Pre-stressed Concrete Institute, Kansas Pre-Cast Concrete Institute, Olathe and Kansas City, Kansas Chambers, Rural Water District No. 5, and Ironworkers Local No. 10.  He has served on the Board of many of these organizations.

 

STEVE ROBL—established and serves as President of Robl Construction in 1978, a residential and light commercial construction company.

 Mr. Robl is active in the Wichita Area Builders Association, serving on the Board of Directors continuously since 1994 and President in 2000.  In addition, he is active in the Catholic Church and their various charities as well as the Maize Schools, Security National Bank Advisory Board, Wichita Technical School Board and New England Financial Board.

 Mr. Robl obtained a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education from Ft. Hays State University.  

 

DEBBIE ROWE--she attended Kansas State University majoring in Business before entering the family business, Manko Window Systems in Manhattan, Kansas.  During the past 17 years, she has held the positions of Office Manager, Credit Manager and Human Resource Manager. In addition to her dedication to the family business, she has been, and is, active in the Sunflower Pilot Club, the Business Advisory Committee at Manhattan High School, and numerous school projects for her family. 

 

DALE WESTHOFF--serves as Vice P resident of Concrete Service Co., Inc., Russell Ready Mix Concrete Inc., and President of Custer County Concrete Inc.   He also serves as Secretary-Treasurer of Mid America Ready Mix Inc.  

Mr. Westhoff is a 1992 graduate of Kansas State University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering with a minor in Economics.    He began working in the family business immediately after graduation from college.
