TRUSTEE BIOS
Jerry McElroy, Steve Robl, Debbie Rowe, Roy Chaney, Jim Gruver, Matt Hoisington, Lee Larson, William R. Miller
JERRY MCELORY, TRUST CHAIRMAN---President of McElroy's Inc., of Topeka and has been President of the family business for the past 32 years. In addition, Mr. McElroy currently serves as an officer and director of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Kansas, director of CoreFirst Bank and Trust, and is a past director of the First National Bank and the St. Francis Health Center. Mr. McElroy attended Washburn University majoring in business and accounting.
STEVE ROBL,TRUST VICE CHAIRMAN—established and serves as President of Robl Construction in 1978, a residential and light commercial construction company. Mr. Robl is active in the Wichita Area Builders Association, serving on the Board of Directors continuously since 1994 and President in 2000. In addition, he is active in the Catholic Church and their various charities as well as the Maize Schools, Security National Bank Advisory Board, Wichita Technical School Board and New England Financial Board. Mr. Robl obtained a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education from Ft. Hays State University.
DEBBIE ROWE, TRUST SECRETARY--Debbie attended Kansas State University majoring in Business before entering the family business, Manko Window Systems in Manhattan, Kansas. During the past 20 years, she has held the positions of Office Manager, Credit Manager and is currently Human Resource Administrator. In addition to her dedication to the family business, she's an active board member of the Sunflower Pilot Club, Manhattan Workforce Advisory Board and a member of the Flint Hills Home Builders Association. Debbie has been married to her husband Dave for 29 years; they have 2 daughters and one granddaughter.
ROY CHANEY--Roy G. Chaney, President of Chaney, Inc., Lawrence, Kansas, established his company in February of 1984 after working in the trade since 1967. Mr. Chaney was born in Vineta, Oklahoma, in 1947 and moved to Lawrence, Kansas in 1952. He married in wife Marilyn in 1967 and served in the Army from 1967 to 1969. Roy and Marilyn have two sons, who both work for Chaney, Inc.
JIM GRUVER--Jim Gruver has owned and operated James Gruver Construction, Inc., Hutchinson, Kansas, since 1990. Jim is a graduate of Buhler High School, Hutchinson Community College and Kansas State University. During these education years he worked at miscellaneous construction jobs. After graduation, he was a job foreman and supervisor for a custom builder from 1975 to 1989. In 1998, Jim added Cabinet Connections to his operations and developed his first subdivision in 1999. In addition to the operation of his two companies, Jim has served as President of the Hutchinson Building Association, served on the Hutchinson Housing Commission, Building Trades Advisory Council for Hutchinson Community College and the City of Hutchinson Board of Appeals. Jim and his wife, Debby, of 31 years have 2 adult children and numerous hobbies.
MATT HOISINGTON--Matt Hoisington was raised in Paradise, Kansas and graduated from Fort Hays State University with a degree in Sociology. After working several years in education (Barton Community College and Georgia Southern University) and public administration (Kansas Department of Commerce), Matt bought C&V Home Improvement in Great Bend. C&V specializes in siding, window and door replacement, residential and commercial overhead doors, steel guttering and weatherization services. C&V has provided professional products and services to Central Kansas since 1976. Currently, Matt and his wife, Mary, reside in Great Bend with their two children, Marissa and Josh.
LEE
LARSON--is owner
of Coronado Construction in Lindsborg, Kansas. Lee has
been an active member of the Salina Home Builders
Association and is immediate past president of that Local
Association. His wife, Kim is designer/draftsman for the
22 year old business.
WILLIAM R. MILLER--Owner and President of Building Erection Services Co. and Midwest Crane and Rigging. He is currently a member of the Associated Genera Contractors Association, American Sub-Contractors Association, Pre-stressed Concrete Institute, Kansas Pre-Cast Concrete Institute, Olathe and Kansas City, Kansas Chambers, Rural Water District No. 5, and Ironworkers Local No. 10. He has served on the Board of many of these organizations.
