Safety Article - Identifying Hazards
The reason for switching to KBIWCF is because of the personal attention given to each claim. KBIWCF verifies that claims are legitimate. Their professionalism and knowledge ensure claims are handled timely and accurately. Jay Schrock, Woodwork MFG & Supply, Inc. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I serve on the Board of Trustees, so have a deep understanding of the fund. Even so, I am overwhelmed at the complexity of everything that goes into running the fund, and admire Janet and her staff for the job they do. I have been very pleased and impressed with the effort that goes into keeping costs down on all levels, efforts to eliminate insurance fraud, and efforts to educate construction companies and their workers on job safety. It truly is a “total package” in trying to keep costs and injuries down, and I know I would have never seen this kind of commitment from my previous carrier. Plus, it cost me less, so how could I not be happy? Sally Salb, Salb Construction, Inc. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I guess I have become spoiled since I have started working with KBIWCF. We are a very safety conscientious employer with a large group of employees that occasionally get injured. With the help of KBIWCF, we have eliminated issues with employees not getting immediate medical attention or information they need to return employees to work. KBIWCF has made it very easy for me because they have negotiated prices with care providers to help keep costs down. They keep in touch with the employer when needed and close out claims on a monthly basis. The employees are friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They are very helpful anytime I have a question regarding a claim. If they cannot answer a question, the group administrator contacts me and we work on an answer that will benefit both us and KBIWCF. Debbie Rowe, Manko Window Systems ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I just wanted to let you know that I have found the Physical Capacity Test that the KBIWCF offers to be one of the most critical employment tests that any employer can use in finding the best candidate for a position. The up front cost is miniscule in comparison to the costs you could possibly incur by a dishonest candidate or one who has preexisting conditions that could affect their ability to perform job functions. I would highly recommend that all of our members make this a mandatory hiring procedure! Jeremy Applebaum, American Dream Homes, Inc. |
